In the Spring of 2016, I took part in the first meeting in a series of
discussions in NYC at the NY School of law with Joe Cannataci, the
Special Rapporteur for Privacy (SRP) together with Human Rights Watch,
Global Freedom of Expression Columbia University, the Brennan Center for
Justice at New York University Law Center, The Department of Information
Policy & Governance at the University of Malta and Security, Technology
& e-Privacy Research Group at the University of Groningen in the
Netherlands. This workshop is the first public event co-organised by the
SRP aimed at achieving a better understanding of privacy.

and I am also facilitating a local art community (Out of the Blue
Gallery) in forming a cooperative, building a web presence and finding a
home while connecting them with my existing networks. I am visualizing
an Art and Technology program that can merge the two communities in
fruitful ventures and collaborations, then become a template for other
cities.
