Divest/Invest Circles are small, place-and/or affinity-based groups designed to build community around shared goals of divesting from companies that fuel genocide, apartheid, and occupation, and investing in what our communities truly need and deserve.
We’re excited to launch a new website with accessible resources and inspiring stories to support you and your community in moving money towards collective freedom. After the launch event, regular office hours will be offered to access continued support as you embark on your journey.
Curious to learn more about Divest/Invest Circles and how to start one in your community or organization? Join us!

While popular demands for a sustained, permanent ceasefire in Gaza and a US-Israel arms embargo have amplified in the last year, there’s an ongoing need to open up a variety of pathways for everyday people to take action in support of Palestinian freedom. In the US and globally, millions of people have filled the streets, challenged elected officials, participated in boycotts, built encampments, and advanced many other tactics focused on state and corporate power.
Divesting as individuals and institutions is another critical tool in our toolbox. We believe there are opportunities to further activate people across class, geography, and organizational affiliation to build economic power against harmful systems and in support of collective freedom.
With support from an accessible landing page that includes resources and inspiring stories, and regular office hours, circle members will have an opportunity to:
– Map their personal and organizational/institutional relationships to corporations and financial institutions fueling genocide, apartheid and occupation;
– Learn about alternatives to existing financial institutions to meet their banking and investment (including retirement!) needs;
– Be introduced to and actively participate in campaigns focusing on specific financial actors in their geography;
– Explore and practice a spectrum of personal to collective actions towards redirecting capital to be in better alignment with their values;
– Receive peer-to-peer and expert technical support across the course of their Divest/Invest journey;
– Document and share their story to inspire others to act.
